Server Position Summary
As one of the most important members of our team, the server helps to deliver an authentic Milford House experience to our guests through exceptional service of food and beverage. The server’s responsibilities include describing menu items, answering questions, taking orders, and serving high-quality food and beverages to our guests.

Server Responsibilities
• Provide world-class, personalized service for every guest.
• Present the menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage.
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of all food, liquor, beer, and wine offered at the restaurant.
• Apply a positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests.
• Pre-bus tables, maintain table cleanliness, and bus tables.
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
• Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Complete other general server tasks as assigned.

Now Hiring: Servers

Minimum Age: 18+ years-old

Primary Responsibilities: Completes all assigned prep work and sets up cook’s station. Maintains product presentations, product quality and cook time standards. Prepares all menu items according to Milford House recipes, plate presentations and specifications.

Specific Functions and Duties:

  • Prepares menu items according to Chef’s specifications
  • Plate presentations and specifications
  • Completes all assigned prep work
  • Set-up work station according to station diagram
  • Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times
  • Cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during and after shift
  • Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects

Qualification Standards:

  • Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
  • Mobility required during the entire shift
